Political Science and Journalism–> i know theres similar questions but none quite hit what i want to know?

recent science news

Okay. I want to be a news anchor for Political Television like CNN. Is it exactly necessary to major in journalism because when i researched some of the profiles of the recent anchors like T.J Holmes and such they majored in broadcast journalism. I wanted to major in Political Science and then work my way up. Does this make sense?

I know the journalism world is very tough to move up and become something big in. I just need some basic information about it because I’m a little stuck.

What other good paying jobs can you get with a P.S. major? I just don’t want to go into college undeclared. I like to have a path somewhat set ya know.
Serious answers please…

The most respectable, trustworthy, and reliable news source?

daily science news

I have chosen 15 news sources. Now I have to decide which top 3 new sources I am going to to use to gather news information.I am a teacher and need to keep my students informed on all topics. The news sources have to be the most factual, most intelligent, non-biased, and most well-informed news.
Again I have to keep my students informed and up-to-date on all topics and have to make sure my information is ACCURATE and FACTUAL.
(No bs, no fluff.) I need accurate news.
I know all news sources are biased to a certain degree. Some more heavily than others. But I need the least biased and most respected new source so at least I know what I am talking and not look clueless when lecturing to my highschool students.
I have chosen: PBS, NPR, CNN, FOX News, BBC, Drudge Report, NPR, Christian Science Monitor, AP, Reuters, The Economist, MSNBC, C-SPAN, New York Times, and Wall St Journal.
Im looking for online news. I just want basic, fresh, intellient, factual, up to date new coverage daily. It has to be respectable news source.

My top 3 new sources that I am considering are: REUTERS, Associated Press, and Christian Science Monitor.

What are your top 3 reliable and honest new sources? Which would you choose if you had to lecture a class on all subject areas? I need to be very well informed.

Thanks.

What do you think would happen if commercials were replaced with quick science/technology news?

daily science news

What if we got rid of ads completely, and instead replaced them by adding separate networks solely for shopping? Several networks all categorized only for selling X items, i.e. one for electronics, fashion, health, food, etc. etc.

Now let’s say Family Guy was airing on the network. What if the would be commercials or breaks were replaced by science news? Kind of like the way in Discovery channel; there would be like a 1 minute preview on new things from daily planet.

Do you think this will motivate people to take up more academic degrees?

Would it just show the populace what interesting things are going on in this world?

What’s your opinion if this were to happen?

Science in the news anyone?

current science news

someone! Please answer this quetion please! For science class, we have to select a current article (within the last year) from a newspaper, magazine, journal, or valid internet site. The article should come from a reputable source- wikipedia is not acceptable. Pk, i get that part , but the thing is i cant find any and also dont know how to. so my question is if anyone is nice enough to find me an article from an valid internet, with the date, source of article, the author and the title of the article., i would truly appreciate it.then what i have to do is a brief summary of the main point or findings of the article, how does it impact or apply to our world, ,and how this article pertain personally to me. Thank you all! i will give 10 points to the best answer!
